“I was instantly drawn into the world(s) of Invocada. Not our reality, but it could be. A wild ride of unlikely narration and unyielding heroes that challenges the concept of secondary characters or predictable plots. I can’t wait to go deeper into the thoughtfully crafted layers of existence and moral peril of this grippingly illustrated universe. There is so much more to this story!”

“Yo Sophie Wow! and Wow! again. This is really cool! I’ve gone in 3 chapters and have taken my time to read the script well and look at the illustrations and I love it. The cover got me immediately!! Perfect.

I can already see a solid combination of those things. Your graphic artist is quite talented yet super perceptive to what I can imagine that you’ve wanted to portray. All the little subtle things from how I know you, what your story’s intentions are and the need to be attractive and keep things stepping along to keep the reader interested are here.

The story develops nicely (3 chapters in) and with purpose; no digressions or unneeded distractions.”

“An outstanding first dive into a new world of dysfunction and strife with a heroine we can all get behind. Loved the journey so far and looking forward to seeing more great art and story in the future. Very compelling and evocative!

“Invocada I feel is a well done story with very unique character designs as well as a very story rich environment. During the first chapters it does take a lot of exposition for the story to get turning but once chapter 5 hits, the action and combat art really gets dialed up to 11. Still, for an introductory book I would say this is a pretty good read, I’m really excited to find out what’s going to happen next after certain events that transpire during the latter half of the novel. It’s just going to take some time and story investment for the plot threads to begin to unravel and show themselves. I’ll be along for the ride as the story content unfolds. I know I’m being really vague about stuff but trying to keep from talking about spoilers to anyone who wants to read the novel. The only thing that I would like to see from the next couple of chapters going forward is more city venues with people going about their business, filled with a different kind of populous with different people and creatures. That’s kind of most of my criticism and what I would want to see going forward. I think this would make a great physical manga to add to my shelf if a physical version ever got made.
