It’s been over a year since I’ve updated here. This is because, rather than spam this website with pointless “we’re still at it” updates, I decided to just focus my time and energy on having something ready that is actually worth presenting. And today is the day. We’re starting off 2026 right!
Towards the end of 2025, Big Yoshi Art and I have completed the pre-production for Book 2, which we have been hard at work at since Book 1 was launched. Compared to pre-production for Book 1, the amount of character studies and other similar assets we have generated is a vastly higher total and therefore required much more time and effort to finish.
And now that those assets are in place, production can proceed. In fact, it already has! Thanks to the hard work of Big Yoshi, the Prologue for Book 2 is already finished and Chapter 1 is already in progress.
If you are reading this post, you have probably already seen the poster and Q&A on our front page. Book 1 and the pre-production of both Books 1 and 2 have been self-funded entirely by yours truly. However, in order to guarantee consistent funding for Book 2’s production, we have launched a crowd funding campaign here on invocada.com. As per the Q&A, I will be posting an update here once a month to give an approximation on how far along we are with production, among other things.
